    1. Margarito barely landed **** on Mosley.
    2. Mosley has a tough jaw.

I don't know why some people are so convinced he was loaded for the Miguel Cotto fight. Cotto has never showed great punch resistance, it's been his resilience that has kept him from losing more times than he has. Cotto walked through a lot of Margarito's shots until he finally succumbed late on. His face was brutalized because he was taking short little uppercuts on the inside from round 1 on. I'm not sold on the idea that Margarito was ever fighting with an unfair advantage.

I think it's mainly the comparative facial damage between the Mosley and Margarito fight. I mean Mosley landed alot of shots but Cotto was clean at the end of it whereas his face was an absolute mess by the end of the Margarito fight.

Also who the hell would start loading their gloves after the biggest win of their career and against a guy seen as past it and already beaten by Cotto.

For the first time Margarito would be outbrawled in the trenches. Mando, slightly faster, more precise with his punches. Regardless of Antonio's punching power status. Muniz is not going anywhere. Coupled in with Margarito's poor defense. Muniz by decision win. Too much polished for a crude brawler to handle.

Cotto was struggling to exchange with Margarito, but he wasn't for the harder-punching Mosley.

Wow, I'm shocked by how much credit Margarito's getting here. I'd have thought Muniz would be unanimously favoured as another class of fighter. I'm no expert on him, but I'm pretty confident that there's a wide gulf in skillset in this one. Muniz would have no trouble out-timing and countering the sluggish Margo and probably even getting the best of things inside. Muniz UD for me.

Here it is. We were chatting about this in another thread just a day or two ago.

Muniz was finished when he fought Leonard.

I found him to be a much better hardman brawler type than Margarito was, and he had better skills too.Entertaining fight, but Mando wins comfortably, maybe forcing a stoppage at some point over the plastercaster.

Muniz might have had some underwhelming performances, but best on best I'd take him to UD Margarito, or maybe force a late stoppage. A different level of skill really. Margo's size is what keeps him in the fight.

The Muniz of either one of the Napoles fights, esp. the first one would be way too tough and savvy for Margarito...Muniz would win on points.
