    A few factors involved: failed drug test, first fight officiating, concessions for this fight, legacy, business.

    Depends what you mean by fair, in a fair world fighters would all start with equal fanbases and opportunities, but life is not like that.

    With that said once you consider all the factors as they are now, the correct financial is in about 40% for GGG, maybe a little more.

    Couldn’t care less,both earning tens of millions and both want their own way for different reason,Canelo wants to keep hold of his precious A side thing for reasons other than money what with the venue,judges,home crowd and all and Golovkin feels he lost out in May and wants equal.

    Canelo already lost, as the entire world knows, so I think 20 / 80 is about right.

    Why do purse splits matter to fans?!? When it’s Wilder Joshua we are suppose to ignore one screwing over the other. % is based on asses in seats not how many trinkets/belts you got haha

    This fight wouldn't even happen in my perfect scenario.

    GGG getting 40% which has been offered is a ridiculously generous split considering the huge difference in their ability to Generate revenue.

    I find it funny how the fans who think GGG should be happy with 40% also think Wilder should be happy with 40%. The fans who think GGG deserves 50% think Wilder should take 12.5mill??!!


    Why is that?

    Why do GGG fans always have double standards?

    GGG is just as marketable a name as Canelo. 50/50 is fair..
