My prediction is Canelo wins on points and....at least 2 of Tim Cheatham, Dave Moretti and Steve Weisfeld will be considerably more comfortable financially very soon.
I think Bivol wins what should be a clear - but competetive - decision, but get's stiffed by an egregious draw
Canelo will struggle with bivol due to his movement and skill but will win a close decision over him. I don't think bivol has the big fight experience necessary to beat a guy like Canelo yet.
He fought nobodies, therefore I can't name them. Just 4 days left, and the Bivol hype will end. I hope they don't complain about judges or the ref.
@JOKER i saw it, please watch last 4 rounds of Richards fight. Richards hurt him by body shots and Bivol can't respond.
Canelo already is up 6 rounds, Vegas, clenbuterrello, etc etc. If he knocks Bivol out it's only because they injected him with Missile juice...Am I doing it right? Seriously, I'm riding with Canelo until I see someone show me otherwise. Will admit, if he keeps taking on bigger and bigger opponents someone's gotta beat him eventually right?
Bivol is significantly better than Plant and Smith. Both of whom came to lose. In a real fight, this wouldn't be close. Bivol gonna play patty cake with Canelo starting from round 1.
Canelo is a fantastic fighter but I don't like him, Bivol is also fantastic and a great guy, I will support Bivol because I am convinced that he can beat Canelo...
Bivol has the style to cause Clenelo fits but he has two huge things going against him. 1. He's fighting someone you have to KO twice to get a draw. 2. He's Russian and I don't recall seeing a single Russian fighter get the rub of the green in a close fight since the outbreak of the war. His lack of big fight experience and activity works against him too as does the quality of his opposition since coming back from his 19 months of inactivity. He dazzled against a far higher level of opposition prior to that (Pascal, Joe Smith, Barrera, Chilemba) but looked flat an not as impressive as he usually does vs Craig Richards and Salamov. Hopefully he can raise his level back to his best for this.
I disagree. Why pay lots of money to an opponent to take a dive when you can beat him easily free of charge? Bivol isn't good at unlocking boxers with good defense, he doesn't have those tricks (like attacking to the body, uppercuts etc) to dismantle that kind of boxers. All he does is hitting his opponent's head with 1-2s, and then back off. He desperately repeats this pattern all night and then get exhausted in the end. Watch Spence Jr vs Ugas and you'll see what a real boxer should look like. Spence Jr used Ugas as a punching bag all night, he attacked him in various parts and unlocked him.
