Motor City Sam Accidentaly picked Casa.
Devil and James, did you really think Casa won or are you guys ****ing around?

We have a good beginning for a petition here. I hope everyone takes a shot at this poll. I think we will gather alot of people that believe the decision was bogus and a petition is definately in order.

Bad, bad decision. Ive worked as a judge in amateur boxing, and have taken seminars to get a judging license( I love this sport, already referee!), so everytime I think a call is bad, I try to picture what the fight looked like live, and think about why the judges scored the fight the way they did. Remember, they cant rewatch rounds. One shot.

For example, I scored DLH-Sturm 115-113 Sturm as my official score for it. Live? Easy to see why the judges scored it Oscar, without any payoff. When a fights live, and an opponent appears to be badly outworking an opponent, its easy to see what the judges were atleast thinking, even if we disagree.

This fight has made my 13 fight list where there is no ****ing way the winner deserved it. Any way you slice it, Casamayor lost last night. Its a travesty, when he only conceivably won one round clearly. Round 6 is the only round where you cant make Santa Cruz a case. Every other round, its struggling to give Casa a benefit of the doubt. And there isnt one.

Sometimes, its moments, illusions, or just not having the benefit of a rewatch that leads to poor decisions.

This fight? A true to form example of bad judging. Make a petition, friend. Ill sign it.

Yeah I`m slowly working on it . Hoping to get some more responces and hopefully some input from a mod. Not sure how to go about it past that so looking for more peeps here 1st then we can take it from there.

Last night literally made me sick to my stomach. I was just getting loose. was eatin some Tostitos resturant style with the dip I make before every big fight. Tossed back 3 or 4 beers and was gettin into things. After the decision I just put the chips and dip away and stopped drinking. Too bad I wasent up to a 6pack by that time... I woulda at least kept drinking then lol.

Almost spoiled a great night. Good thing the main event lived up to the hype and more.

The scoring was a scandal but what added insult to injury was to realize that Casamayor and his entourage knew what was going on. Between rounds, I heard cornermen instruct Casamayor to keep boxing the way he was, like if they knew he was ahead on the cards.

Shortly after the end of the fight, a smiling and confident Casamayor was lifted triumphally, the whole entourage seem pleased.

I doubt it can be proven but I'll say it anyway: this fight was fixed.

For Casamayor to literally refuse to fight a soft opponent like Santa Cruz is beyond me but something went wrong.

I haven't seen the fight but judging from what I read in several sites, no one has yet thought Casa won.

It was a robbery, and I don't use that term lightly. The Demetrius Hopkins decision this year was a bad decision, but this was a robbery. There is no way a person can formulate an argument that Casamayor won the fight.

And yes, it looks a lot different live than it does on TV, but no one but the judges thought Casa took it. **** 'em all.
