Floyd UD...I love Chavez man but this Aint Roger and Floyds just as fast (maybe not handspeed) as Taylor..Harder to hit..and much much smarter in that ring.

floyd couldn't handle Castillo's pressure prime for prime. He'd crumble under Chavez'

This is a hard one but I give it to Floyd UD. At 135 he was just too slick, and amazingly accurate with his shots as he was very hard to hit. I see Chavez chasing him quite a bit but Floyd's precision would be solid and...well, you know.

I love Chavez but I see it like Pernell.

JLC gave Floyd problems. Chavez is similar to Castillo, just a lot better. I think he'd decision PBF

Floyd doesn't fight off the backfoot like Whitaker and he doesn't have a jab like Whitaker, nor the workrate. This fight would not resemble that one, with Floyd taking much more risks without reward on the ropes, whereas that never happened Whitaker. Could still be somewhat close.

Chavez, by late round stoppage. Floyd would look super nice for the first few rounds but the Chavez pressure would start increasing, taking PBF legs out, cutting off the ring and pound him like he has never felt.

Floyd can fight off the backfoot almost as good as Pea imo, but he does lack Pea's jab and workrate.

I see a close fight that could go either way, Chavez wins 6 times out of 10 though.

Btw, Pea vs Chavez was not a close fight, it was won convincigly by Pea.

SAme with Floyd..when was the last time you saw this guy tire? I can take the contrary view that by the time by the late rounds come, Floyd would have figured Chavez out. PBF is one of the best conditioned boxers in history..IMHO

Not sayin FLoyd lacks conditioning, I'm saying Chavez will land a few body shots on PBF. A few is all he'll need to slow Floyd down. Floyd can adapt quick in a fight, but Chavez can show some adaptability as well. It's mostly the pressure that Chavez bring and his tremendous ability to take a shot in his prime.
