Haye is a coward, with a lunging and running, one punch at a time style and a weak chin.

Marciano was fearless, intense pressure fighter with 87% KO ratio who had superior conditioning to Haye.

If you want to get an idea of what the sizes would look like, here is clip of Marciano & Ali doing a staged fight back in 1960's.

Ali was 6'3 and about 220. Marciano was 5'11, about 195.

Here is another clip of Ali saying that Marciano was tougher than Joe Frazier. Haye was terrified to engage against Wlad, you think he would be willing to go after Marciano? GTFO!

Marciano beats Haye's ass for 8 rounds and KO's him, most likely. If it goes to the cards, Marciano wins on activity/clean punching/aggressiveness.

I can't believe how over rated Haye is, I know some dispute Rocky as an all time great. I however think Haye would NOT be able to stay away for 15 rounds without getting very hurt. I have never seen Haye in a proper war I therefore question his heart, I have seen Rocky in plenty of wars and he has come through. Rocky KO's Haye mid to late rounds.

I think with today's nutrition it's more likely Rocky would bulk up rather than cut down. The perception back then was that excessive weight training would slow a fighter down and limit stamina. There's a much better understanding of how to add muscle without negative effects, and Marciano probably had the frame to handle 195-200 without affecting speed and endurance. 185 to 175 is not an excessive cut, but it affects everyone's body differently. Some people are better off fighting closer to their natural weight.

Onto the fight itself, Haye has problems fighting at a fast pace for 3 minutes a round. While he would probably have his moments against Marciano, but it's difficult to see him stopping him, and once Haye slows down the fight can only go one way.

I don't think there'd be as much of a size difference as some people think. Haye is not a huge guy, 6'2'' at most, and Marciano was a naturally powerful guy.

At crusier, Marciano may have been GOAT. As much as I like Haye, I can't see him surviving Marciano's attack for 12 rounds. Remember the trouble Haye had with Mormeck? It would be 1,000 times worse against Marciano.

On the other hand, it's possible that Haye might have beaten Marciano at unlimited heavyweight.

What a joke of a fight this would be. Haye is terrified to take a punch from Feather Fisted slobs like Ruiz and Valuev, he would never engage Marciano. He would backpedal and try to potshot, get walked down and brutally KOed. He has no Chin. None.

Marciano would murder him.. Haye would be terrified from the opening bell, but in the end Rocky would catch him and shatter his glass jaw..

    Maybe even Super Middleweight.

Anyway, Marciano KO in the 10th with Haye ahead on all scorecards.

rocco had underrated defense. his chin was iron. based on that, haye would get his jaw shattered
