What a stupid question. Exactly why... the ****.... would Oscar take a beating like that, on purpose? What exactly does that do for his career as a fighter, or as a promoter?

    No he threw the fight!

Oscar forgot the stunts and took the beatings. He forgot which side to evade first...Pacquiao on the other hand was following the scripts. Oscar failed to remember all the scripts which was suppose to last as a Draw!

Absolutely NOT! If DLH did throw the fight he must be a ****ing idiot to take a beating like that just to throw the fight. DLH is smarter than that...he could have thrown the fight and not have to take a beating like he did. THere is just no sense in this conspiracy theory.

Don't forget the ignominity of having his eye pounded shut... he did that to have a new poster made of him slouched on that stool so that he can hang it in his TV room. Yeah, he threw the fight. Wanted that 1 picture missing from his boxing career for the photo album.

No.. He would have quit earlier than round 8 if he did. My guess is he underestimated pacman and thought he could knock him out any time. The problem is he couldn't catch pacquaio all night and he got beat to the punch everytime.

Oscar has never taken a dive, and I can't imagine any reason why he ever would. He didn't take a dive against Hopkins either. Oscar loves the limelight as much as anyone, and it shines brightest when you win.

No. It was his greed for money and wanting to show up Roach and Arum in ruining their fighter. The weight limit messed him up and he just couldn't defend himself from the opening bell.

Theory of those who answered yes: Oscar made it look so real to the last details so no one will be suspicious. If he won Hatton will be more afraid to fight him since even before the fight Hatton didn't show interest in fighting him and he knows Floyd won't fight him anymore. He knew that Pac will fight Ricky if he loses and will earn a lot from that fight. And when Oscar becomes a full time promoter he can entice Pac to join his company because Pac will feel indebted to him for purposely making him win the fight.

Oscar is too prideful to ever throw a fight. He was dominated, but at least he gave what he had.
