Are a lot of us ignoring the fact Mark Tibbs isn't with Dillian any longer? How much of an effect could that have?

I think Whytes weight could be revealing, we might get an idea of how his training camp went.

I'm not picking until Friday's winning, but I have a genuine feeling that Povetkin pulls the upset.

All right, I know this is going to be ridiculous. The bigger, younger, harder hitting fighter with the hot hand almost always wins, and really, Whyte deserves it, but I keep having this vision, and I have had time to talk myself into it.

Povetkin throws a feinting hook to draw the check-hook. Whyte obliges, throwing one of his patented all-in, off balance haymaker hooks, but finds Povekin just out of range. Povetkin answers with a well-planned overhand-right counter, and...

Down goes Whyte! Down goes Whyte!

Whyte pops right back up, but Povetkin smothers him, throwing 30, 40, maybe 50 largely unanswered punches, burning up every last bit of 40 year old gold-medal greatness in his last grasp at the brass ring in a barrage reminiscent of Dokes-Weaver. The parallel continues as the ref sees enough and steps in, even as Whyte is standing tall. While Whyte protests in disbelief as the ref explains that it is his job to protect himself at all times, the announcing team declares..

WINNER, AND NNNEEEEWWWWW WBC INTERIM HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!

They make it a point to note that adding the WBC interim championship to Povetkin's run as WBA regular champion makes him boxing's first two-time pseudo heavyweight champ.

Book it! It is going to happen.

My main man Dillian "The Body Snatcher" The Villain" "The Lone Wolf" Whyte, gives his take on his upcoming bout against Povetkin

    This content is protected

"Been training ard' cuz Povetkin is tough, good chin, solid guy who been at the top of the tree for a long time."

"We know he got a good chin, he former olympic gold medallist... but im coming to cause maximum violence and chaos"

"povetkin doesn't look his age, still look strong and fit, and he proved he still motivated in his last fight where he started bad but finished strong."

"Povetkin Know if he beats me, then his whole career get rejuvenated"

Question to Dillian by Reporter: "You didn't have to take this fight, it's a tough one, you could have just sat around waiting for your title shot"

Dillian: "Experience is not something you can buy, a lot of people forget I'm still learning I haven't had amateur experience, I've been learning on the job in pro career. Guys like povetkin got loads amateur fights to build up his skill and talent"

"People now seeing my fight the Povetkins, the Rivas', the Parker's, and how im challenging all these big styles and im winning"

My gut is telling me Whyte by a KO in a brutal fight. Povetkin wont get rag dolled like Parker.

But I also see Povetkin catching Whyte with a fantastic counter punch.

Wanting Povetkin to win, but he's fighting in Eddies back garden so anything goes for Whyte, I half expect a knockdown for Povetkin would be ruled as a point deduction.

    Whyte by pathetic stoppage.

The faster someone brings Whyte down to his true Chisora level the better, we can then get on with proper fighters getting the limelight.

Whyte has absolutely no business sharing the ring with Russian Vityaz. Even at 41 years he's still around 3-4 levels above this chump. I've played this fight hundreds of times in my head and it always ends in an early, brutal stoppage for the Russian.

    Povetkin KO2 the Panty Snatcher.

68% favouring dillian whyte.... quite the change in sentiment from a year ago.

All the haters must secretly been voting for him now...

Whyte proved he is the REAL DEAL.

He will now show Michael the Bounty Hunter how to get the job done.

If Whyte is not in top condition I’m going to go with Povetkin.
