I didn't say Monzon shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame. I simply stated the substantiable fact that he was a ****. It's a comparison with Hamed: the personality out of the ring should not colour the assessment of the career, especially since Hamed is a saint compared to what Monzon was.

True: if the Hall of Fame was reserved for people who were p4p top 5's during most of their career, then Hamed shouldn't be in. However, it's the Hall of Fame rather than the Hall of Amazing Greatness, and as a famous and world class boxer Hamed deserves to be in there. And in jail, probably.

great fighter, great entertainer, held featherweight titles over 5 years and wasn't afraid to fight in the states. btw, don't you hate it when yanks say he was exposed as soon as he went to the states, when his defeat came nearly 4 years after his american debut?

    definitely a HOF'er and a one-off.

Not a ****, but perfectly qualified on the standards that the Hall of Fame sets. Or are you one of the numerous twats who couldn't see past Robinson's loss record back in the 1990s? :good

why not:huh tell me why is a loss more than 10 a big bad achievment.

thee are so many fighters who had lost before they got a title asnd became hall of famers.

If Barry Mcguigan Is In the hof for 1 or 2 defenses then Nas should easily get in. People tend to forget how good Nas was in his prime.
