gotta be the Tito fight. Excellent action from start to finish.

Imo el feroz was rushed as a young pro, put into fights he probably wasnt ready for, although he has won world titles i cant help butwonder what he could have achieved if he was managed more carefully. No shame in losing to tito at that stage though and the same goes for his loss to De La hoya.

Post DLH though I think injury has prevented Vargas from getting mbackt o the top aswel as anybody else.

Peak Vargas beats Mayorga comfortably imo...

 

Also Vargas - Tito had an heir of 'super fight' about it. this was when Tito was at the top of his game which made it more exciting.

Quartay although good never had the star power Trinindad did.

 

Interesting but definately a guilty pleasure. Im not too keen on K1 style super star fights, where the 'superstars' are a good 4 years past their fighting peak...

 

vargas is a sad case rushed into big fights to quick and suffered, give vargas props he left all he had in the ring the night with tito,

 

Probablly the Oscar fight I thought it was better because in Tito-Vargas u had Tito busting up Vargas balls while Oscar beat Vargas cleanly. Vargas wins over Quartey and Wright are also incredibly underatted fights.

 

If he left everything in there home come he went on to beat good fights in Ray Joval and Javier Castejello also had dam close fights with Oscar and Shane Mosley.

 

Vargas - Trinidad was one of the most excting fight I've ever seen.
