McDermott edged it 6-4 by throwing the more effective punches. Fury threw more combinations though, could have been seen as a draw but a Fury win is pushing it a bit. Watt totally over-exaggerated McDermott's dominance though, he was very good but Fury was in the fight. I see Fury winning a rematch comfortably sadly for McDermott.

Just watched on youtube. That was almost a white wash, McDermott won decisively. That really was a serious robbery. Awful decision, disgusting in fact.
    I had it about 8-2 or 7-3.

I guess HW boxing still draws a lot of interest.

Being a tad sceptical ... would OConnor have been influenced by a certain huge bet place prior to the fight on Fury ! ..mmmm .. just a thought !

    McDermott 6-4.

I thought Fury did rally to win the last two rounds, but was too far back on my card by then.

    Fury 6 - 4

Watched this at work with the sound off but felt Fury hit him a lot more, seeing as I'm in the minority makes me want to go back and watch it again. Not a fan of Fury at all either but I thought he had done enough :/

On that, it was because it was for the English title, wasn't it? They still allow ref decisions.

Undefeated, handsome, 6ft 8" hyped heavies do.

Fury and Price are the only ones who could get this kind of attention.

McDermott Vs Lee Swaby wouldn't get this interest.

Even Chisora with his mouth and record wouldn't get any wider media attention.

Big fat Mac by 2/3 rounds. Someone said watch it with the sound off, basically I did as I was in a pub, still McD for me.

A few of us were saying what a mess a decent heavy would make of both of them. Pretty low quality **** fight.

I'd say that was a big blow to the Fury band wagon as he couldn't get an overweight journeyman out of there.

    8-2? Joke.

Did you see the last guy he turned up against? The Homer Simpson lookalike?
