Yes, if we set our nostalgiameter to vaporize... then Baer is definitely in Foreman's class as a puncher. However, if we use video footage and logic we would obviously view young Foreman as a far more dangerous puncher than Max Baer...:good
Very tough one to call. Joe Louis was the more complete fighter, and he had the skills and power to beat George, but I can just as easily see Foreman stopping Joe with one of his haymakers. Foreman always has this puncher's chance. Louis' best strategy would be to box defensively at first, and try to drag George through the halfway mark.
You've seen when Baer backs Louis up early on, right? No problem for Joe. He only counters with more accurate and compact punches and rocks the iron-jawed Baer. After that, the fight is already decided.
Marciano did not get aniliated.... :rofl Srs now....Foreman And Old Foreman Smashes teh **** outta ANYONE-IN-HISTORY who wants a fight! :deal
That was an old Joe. A prime Joe has a much better chance and can possibly stop Foreman. Though, Foreman is no pushover and I don't see it as an easy fight for either man.
NOBODY stops 1973 Foreman. :deal BUT - can you plz tell ME yur thoughtz on 1952 Marcaino VS 1938 Louis???
Foreman would have had his hands full with this man: This content is protected Bigger, stronger, took as good a punch and was a better technical boxer.
Foreman never knocked out a man over 250 lbs, how can he even dream of knocking out the chiseled 255 lb Abe Simon? The man was a beast and took punches for fun. This content is protected
