you have them ranked correctly. The reason i did this poll is because i thought it would be tight and it is.

Head to head or in terms of ATG status? Because head to head he's as likely to beat Hearns as I am to beat Floyd.

Its no blowout. Put the top 10 wins of each...for some reason, people like to give a ridiculous amount of credit for losses.

You asked for his top wins, those two blow out any Mayweather win, by a distance. KO'ing Duran in two rounds? Winning a WIDE UD over a guy who would've UD'd Floyd? Definitely better than anything Floyd accomplished. Also, if we want, we can throw in the rematch against Leonard(which was by all accounts a true win, and not a draw, even according to Leonard). He was ahead big against Leonard as well before the late stoppage.

As far as top wins, you're going to try to go for quantity over quality for Floyd. I'll take quality over quantity, in which case it's clearly Hearns.

Floyd career is not done yet, so this comparison is premature .

H2H....Hearns wins @ 147 or any weight above. P4P sense? Hearn's wins surpass any of Floyds, but Floyd's work @ 130 makes it closer a little closer.

as a big hearns fan it pains me to say that floyds best wins were probably better, but not by much. but tommy beat a very solid crop from all the divisions he fought in. cuevas, benitez, duran, leonard (2nd fight), roldan, hill etc....... like floyd he also won 5 titles in 5 divisions. i'd say hearns still ranks higher, based on a better resume and high h2h ranking.

h2h he destroys floyd at welter with relative ease.

mayweather. active fighters are always underrated. hearns started at 147 and his last meaningful fight was at 154. mayweather fought from 130 to 154.

I voted for Floyd but it's close, a KO loss to Cotto would change that. Head to head at 147 then Floyd gets brutalised but his career has been much more than that weight and he's still got his '0'.....

If Hearns had a better chin he'd be literally miles ahead I suspect.

So which of Floyd's wins were better than a 2nd round KO of Duran and a WIDE UD over Benitez?
