POLL: How many UK PPV do you think Wlad/Haye will do?

As someone said, 2 million sales here is equal to 10 million in the US. Can't see it happening.

Yep. It's in Sky's interest to promote it well, so i'm sure they will.

Wlad is telling everyone who'll listen that he hates Haye and wants to punish him, and Haye is continuing with the **** talk - so their both promoting well so far. You only have to look at the Klit fanboys who do nothing but post about their hatred of Haye, and the Haye-lords talking about how their guy is in Wlad's head to see that both fighters are doing a good job selling to the fans.

Call me cynical but I find it hard to believe that these kind of things aren't discussed between fighters. I expect Wlad and Haye have discussed their promotional tactics and how they'll act etc. In any other business deal you sit down and work out ways to maximise both parties income - I can't see this being any different.

 

Pretty much impossible to do 2m PPV buys. Anything over 1m would be a great result, and I think it will manage it.

The point was not about money in the pocket and yes I do very well...very well thank you. The point was that no matter what your marketing or where, IT HAS TO BE MARKETED RIGHT to reach the
public that you are trying to reach....simple and correct point. As far as Sky, I admit I don't know alot about them...I don't live in the UK. I don't call you a Wald hatter, just a little over sensitive about Haye.

About 1mil. I agree with the poster who said there is a limit to UK PPV buys here. Haye-Valuev was hyped like hell, eveyrone new about it, the intrigue of the size difference in David vs Goliath was there too, that did 800k. Hatton-PBF was huge too, it did about 1mil. Most people will be going to the pub/bars in big groups to watch this.

 

I have to give credit where it is due, Haye vs Harrison may have an effect on this fight. I hope, and think not., but, you may be correct. I guess we won't know till after the fight.
