Slugger, I'm sorry I wish the best of luck for Ortiz... He's a likeable guy. His heart has been questioned, but I think he's on his way to redeeming himself.

I really wish he would have took another fight say like Bradley or Kahn. I think he's young an hungry. I just don't think he has it up stairs... MENTAL TOUGHNESS to handle a person that could be as frustrating as Mayweather.

I hope they get him ready for that. I don't think Mayweather is going to hurt him, just out point Ortiz and frustrate him to a yawn of a fight of UD for Mayweather.

Mayweather just loves his 0 in the loss column, as much as he loves himself... And at this late stage of his career he ain't going to JEOPORDIZE that... :smoke

 

Victor needs to throw his game plan out of the window and try take Floyd out in the 1st 2 rounds with an all out attack

the longer the fight goes the worse it will be for Victor

I think Mayweather's power is average or slightly above average at best. I don't think Mayweather's power will really hurt him, but Ortiz was knockdown by Berto and he doesn't have any power. Berto just looks really muscular which isn't a true indication of power, sort of like the JW version of Orlin Norris.

Ortiz needs to understand and be ready for Mayweather's defense. It'll frustrate him and he can't let that affect him mentally. Keep his wits about him, constantly pressure Mayweather and make him pay when he has his chance. And he will get chances. Don't let him off the hook... ala Mosely... :hat
