I voted Marquez. I've never been impressed by Lopez. In my opinion his hand speed has been getting slower. I think this is where he gets found out.
Marquez is chinny... although he is far superior he will get caught at some point and get stopped. He won't be able to keep lopez at bay.. he does not have the stamina anymore
JuanMa by early KO. I think Marquez's 4 fights with Vasquez will have taken too big a chunk out of him and JuanMa T/KOs him in round 4/5/6.
I agree with Lopez beïng somewhat overrated, but I expect him to beat a past prime Marquez, certainly with Lopez' punch vs Marquez' chin in mind.
Marquez is too technical against Juanma. If a D fighter named concepcion who has no KO power was able to drop Lopez and looked dazed, imagine what Marquez would do to juanma.
I'm supprised so many people are picking marquez over lopez... the same people will be here after lopez wins by KO to say that juanm beat an old over the hill fighter.. :hat
Juanma by KO, Rafa looks in good shape but I can't see him winning in this fight, Juanma's size on fight night will be the difference.
Possibly. I maintain that Lopez is overrated either way, and beating an increasingly shop-worn Marquez (who's also always been a tad overrated) won't change that for me.
why the need to use the word 'overrated' to great warriors like Juanma and Rafa, if they are overrated then who are the best in their division? an overrated boxer?
