Eddie hits harder than Toney, and Toney was able to discourage Sam on a few occasions in their first fight. I tend to think Sam will be surprised by Eddie's pop. He isn't a huge puncher, but having seen him fight in person I can tell you his power is better than his record indicates. I think he can earn Sam's respect, and will be able to create distance with his mobility.
I tend to agree. Povetkin was suprised by Chambers' combination of speed and power and Povetkin is WAY faster than Peter. I think Eddie will land a lot of right hands that Peter won't see coming. I wouldn't be surprised if Chambers knocked Peter down or shut Peter's eye. Big question: Can Chambers stay off the ropes and avoid Peter's dirty combinations? If he can, he will win in dominant fashion.
Chambers should win a comfortable decision and in easy fashion if he shows up in regular shape. He doesn't even have to show up in tip-top shape. He is too fast and moves too much for Peter. If Peter loses, who knows where he'll end up. If Chambers wins, it will skyrocket him into the top 10 and he will have a win over a former champion.
Sam Peter is the most underrated fighter on this board....how can anybody say he is the most overrated on this board is beyond me,,,, I think besides me there are like 3 others that like peter
these two are like those cats from that movie disorderlies.. Who cares if they fight, it'd be an embarassment.. Peter should knock out feather hands tho; he couldnt even beat Povetkin,,
oh 40...you back to that again. After the Vitali fight you wrote him off BIG TIME...what happened...you back to nuthuggin again :yep:yep:yep
make that 4 :good PETER wins this one. and yes he is being underrated. he lost to the best 2 hws of the post-lewis era and is being completely dismissed by many. He quit but didn't go down once in 20 rounds against the KLITS. This is another example of writing off a fighter after 1 loss and underrating the Klitschkos. The Klits are the best at keeping opponents at distance and controlling tempo. I don't see how any other hw can keep Peter at distance like that. When he gets inside his punching range, he is busy and throws combinations with bad intentions. His jab is solid and he has straightened out his punches. However, his conditioning has gotten worse and he's taken a ton of punishment from monster punchers. You gotta wonder what he's got left til he proves himself. Great crossroads fight. He wins, he's back in the mix. A loss would eliminate him as a serious contender for good in my mind. I'll be rooting him on for sure though. I'd be willing to do an avatar bet on this one too :yep
That depends on a lot of variables. How big is the ring? 22 x 22, 20 x 20, or less? Is Peter in shape, which for him is about 250-255 pounds. I'll go with Peter via TKO.
Chambers should be able to outbox and outspeed him for 10 rds but Chambers is not always in top form. If Peter can muster some condition he can give it a go but right now he would be outworked
