Lets go with the Yori Boy was really in his prime in the early 90s as a welter but since this is at JM lets go with the Yori Boy of 97 who stopped Raul Marquez for the title,he was still near his prime then. I think Angulo will eventually be better than Yori Boy but right now I think hed be about evenly matched with a Prime Yori Boy. One thing i know is that this would be a War both similar in style although Angulo is more talented and has the edge in boxing skills, Yori Boy is more experienced and tough as they come. Whats your take?
i give it to yory boy all day long. more skilled, more intelligence and more variety in his gameplan. if angulo tried to war with him, yory would drop him with the same short hook he hit tito with. if angulo tried to box, he'd be cut up and destroyed on the outside
Yey you got a point know that I think about it Yori Boy had some skills in his prime and was actually an underrated Boxer but I guess since he was so damn easy to hit and his excellent chin, people forgot about his skills. I guess im leaning towards Yori Boy based on the experience. Although Vargas was inexperience he had that big amatuer experience and Used movement and superior speed and boxing skills. Thats not Angulos game and hed be right there in front of Yori Boy this could end by a mid rounds stoppage like Yoris win over Marquez.
Yey I have no doubt hed beat Cintron in a rematch CIntron barely beat a sick Perro Angulo will get better and i think might eventually win a title.
Angulo has potential, but even the version of Campus that fought Duddy would give him hell. Prime Campus would put a beating on Angulo. That may not be true in a couple years, but I think it's true now.
