Im not saying its a solution im saying it WORKED. PRIDE was known for exciting fights with a rule set that favored action. That much we can agree on.

:-( Your impossible. Just because Pride had exciting fights and Pride had a yellow card system DOES NOT mean that Pride had exciting fights because it had a yellow card system. For example, notice how almost every fight at UFC was exciting yet ...gasp... no card system. You make it sound like Pride never had a bad fight ever.

Subjective. I never said that. My words were:

I think thats a VERY SIMPLE statement to understand considering PRIDE's legacy in MMA. Now you go away and find me the equivalent of Don Frye Vs Takayama and il start to take you seriously.

Not that I couldn't name some Zuffa promoted fights that I think are better than the rockem sockem fest that is Takayama/Frye, but whats your point exactly? Pride had some great fights? The UFC puts on great fights too and yet... no card system.

You say that "IT WORKED" when clearly you mean "IT WORKED (sometimes)"

just like the lack of it works.

Speaking of works, interesting that you use Frye vs Takyama as your argument...
