Garcia will have the judges & therefore the decision regardless what happens in the ring. He's one of DAZN's boys
I voted Campbell by TKO/KO Not for any real reason. An upset to start the new year is always good. It's a step-up fight for Garcia who has unknowns. Decision victory for either is the smart money. If it's a close decision win for Campbell he won't get it on the scorecards as others mention. If Campbell starts getting picked off he might as well lay it on the line and risk getting flattened...last hurrah fight. Don't survive to a decision loss. please.
Bold prediction Esp considering Lukes never been knocked out Im going Campbell by stoppage Its the only way he get be victorious
You just hate fighters who have star appeal, don't you? And now DAZN is in the business of fixxing fights?
This has happened over and over in boxing. In fact, it happens every week, it is that common. Most of the fights are not that scrutinized. But, yes, you see fighters managed by well known managers and promoters and they always get the decision. ALWAYS.
I've had a sneaky feeling of a Garcia early ko for weeks....I don't particularly like Campbell partially because of Adam Smith....but I wouldn't mind if he got the win here .. kingry talks alot of shite
If both fighters are still standing at the end Garcia will not be allowed to lose...we all know that.
I've stated here before that I think Garcia needs some real challenges in the ring and in his life. Might make him a bit more humble. I THINK Garcia wins, but I HOPE Campbell does.
Campbell was dropped by Loma (small guy at 135 and probably zero power there but obviously great angles and speed), Mendez (natural Super Featherweight), Mendy (legit LW size-wise) and Linares (legit LW puncher). I'm not sure Garcia will take him out but i wouldn't be shocked to be honest. Going with Garcia TKO here but if he wins via UD it won't be a shocker. I'd be shocked if Campbell wins though. I think Campbell is a very solid boxer with good fundamental skills and he was also a really good amateur but he's not the youngest guy anymore and all the fight i have seen from him he looked kind of flat....i think Garcia speed will be a big factor here. Garcia is also a huge dude currently, compared to his version two or three years ago - he looked chinny and skinny back then, now he's probably eating the same meat Clenelo ate (or eats). But i guess it's Garcias best opponent yet so it'll answer a lot of questions about him. Garcia TKO or UD for me. I can see why people going with the Brit, but i don't see it.
