See, this is going to be an excellent debunking triangle theories example of just because Fighter A (Nakatani) beat Fighter B (Teofimo), then Fighter B (Teofimo) beat Fighter C (Lomachenko), that doesn't mean Fighter A (Nakatani) can beat Fighter C (Lomachenko).:D

Now... for what will really happen. Lomachenko closes the distance far more easily than Felix Verdejo, lands a vicious power jab, puts Nakatani down early, he rises, Loma puts him right back down, he stays down. Absolute Crolla like destruction.

Just don't get fkin injured again .. the japs like a bigger less skilled Pedraza but with a more aggressive attitude.. interesting style clash, be a good gauge of how much of Loma is left..

He’s hated because he got robbed against Salido, who cheated in more ways than 1, and for losing a tight fight in which he came on late and was clearly taking over.

If he was any color than whet, he’d get zero hate.

The skill level between these two is vast, Loma is far and away the better fighter. However the size difference is also massive, I wonder what Nakatani will walk into the ring at , full blown welterweight? higher? The way to go is with Loma in a matchup like this , but there is a live dog component here and I wouldn't be stunned by Loma getting physically over powered at some point.

    Sure.
26-27 y.o Loma was making 126 lbs without any problems and looked fresh.

I'm surprised by the number of Lomachenko TKO votes. Nakatani is very big and very sturdy.

really? as one of lomas stans, youre surprised? he was walking on water around here before teo brought reality back. you dont think a shoulder injury excuse is enough for the same devotees? i mean, he got fouled too much, wasnt. lets be real about it, loma will get competition from all the best fighters in this division, he aint no masing anyone anymore. im just hoping he still has the same reflexes and reaction time, cause thats 75% of his game.

Loma is the best LW in the world but he's injury prone.

Fighting a big rugged Jap is a great way to break another hand or rip the shoulder again.

IF Loma comes out of this injury free don't be surprised by a quick announcement of Loma v. Lopez PPV in Sep or Oct.

Lopez v. Kombozo mismatch being cancelled over embarrassing lack of ticket sales is bad bad bad. They know they can't do the numbers on ppv and actually pay these guys.

    Everything lining up nicely.

Um, Lomachenko is in my Top 5, but you've never seen me hyping him up like crazy. In fact, I criticized him for not fighting Pac.

you have a terrible memory. or maybe you have a different interpretation of the word hype. or maybe you just hate teo and other previous loma opponents when talking about what loma was going to do to them. doesnt really matter.

Loma feels like the obvious choice, but Nakatani can come on smaller guys late, and Loma keeps getting worse. I think Naka eventually lands a large one smack across the jaw and hurts Loma badly. Doesn’t necessarily mean he will win but it should be his fight from that point on. Depends on how early he catches him.

I definitely don’t think Loma has half a chance of KOing Naka.

I think Lomachenko wins but I'm rooting for Nakatani.
