Pretty clear by the poll result who won. It's pretty much the same with poll result on other site as well as poll result of ringside journalist.
Unfortunately the scorecards of 3 old guys who fell asleep are the ones that count.

Watch Ward at the decision he thought he'd lost it. I reminded me of Lewis -Holy 1 when they announced Eugenia Williams scorecard for Holyfield the two most surprised faces were Lennox & Vander. Ward got a lucky one & he knows it He'll duck his way out of a rematch you can bet on that. Ive just watched the fight for the third time today & the result is the same 115-112 to Kovalev Robert Byrd let Ward get away with murder Billy goat rushes in elbow smashes. It spoiled a really good fight

It was an obvious robbery! Almost everyone won the fight, the judges appear to be criminals......................I am tired of Vegas robberies Ward dies bit want a rematch, but there is a clear rematch clause and it will be enforced. Kovalev will go ahead and knock the cheat Ward out..................

I was unable to see the fight last night Alex I watched it THREE times today
I apologized to Ward last night for doubting he'd show up & gave him credit for winning & congratulated him because I thought he'd won a fair fight
Then I saw the fight today & realized Ward did NOT win fairly. Biased officiating ruined what was a great fight No one was more surprised than Ward when they announced The NEW!!! He knew he'd just got an early Christmas present
This was exactly the same as MAY-PAC Just further proof that BOXING IS CORRUPT!!!

Even Billy Goat Ward himself admitted " I had to fight dirty to survive" Mayweathers replacement as Vegas Golden child has been unveiled

Ive been in and around Boxing most of my life Alex & have NEVER seen the blatant corruption that abounds today. They don't even bother to try & hide it there are no rules . The commissions lead the corruption

Nope, I re-watched the fight very closely and Ward won rounds 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12. I'd easily argue any of those rounds with anyone who wants to. The fight was close, but winning is winning, and Ward eeked it out.

Actually had it completely the same as you.

3 is a bit eeky, some say close but not close enough.

3 is the only round I can possibly think about conceding and that would give Sergey the lead, it was that kind of fight

I watched it live and then again a couple of hours ago and even rooting for Ward still found I had to stretch to give him more than 5 rounds.

I had it 114-113 for Kovalev, so in that sense I can't call it a robbery at all. A wrong decision in my opinion, but also an extremely close fight so again, no robbery as such. The Hooker fight was a robbery

    However...

I don't think there should have been 3 American judges for a fight between an American and a Russian in the US. And all 3 of them having the same score is unusual I guess (no one gave Kovalev the 10th either, which I thought was clearer than most). I think a rematch should happen.

Hats off to Ward, showed he can hang with the top guys at LHW and hsowed good resolve to get off the canvas and get back into the fight. I hope he continues to take on the best at LHW too. And I hope guys give Kovalev credit too, there were quite a few people saying he's a robot who is going to get schooled - he showed he's much much more than that.
