Yes and the fixing happened in round 10. Kovalev won it by a clear margin, yet all three judges gave it to Ward.

Had Kovalev won this round, Ward would not win the fight.

    Holy ****! LOL

But we are the ones with agendas. Your last sentence speaks volumes and shines a light right into the putrid bowels of your soulless constitution. Truly flotsam in the sea of life.

There seems to be a fair few that felt Ward did enough so I guess people all see different things but I scored wide for Kovalev and couldnt see how Ward was given the decision or how people saw Ward as the winner.
I saw Kovalev as a very clear winner

I thought Kovalev won rounds 3, 5 and 9 that seem to have varied opinions

I saw Kovalev as a narrow winner, but it can swing wider for Kovelev or to a narrow Ward win.

These are the compubox punch stats and they tell a different story.

Kovs right hand became a non factor after round 5 and could only land the jab. Ward was able to land the jab to the body and the head and began to open up with hooks to the body and left hooks up Top.

Second it's clear as day Kov couldn't cut off the ring and had stamina issues. After Ward got back up he immediately brought the fight to Kov which I'm sure Kov didn't expect. It was a great fight between 2 Top champions of the sport and Ward did pull it off. Kov was not robbed in fact he couldn't finish off a guy he had hurt period.

The tenth round, sure you can give to Kov. His most noticeable punch was the jab while Ward was showboating. That said, Ward landed just as many jabs but also landed more variety shots like left hooks and even ended the round in the last 20 seconds with 2 or 3 good body shots before Kov threw that huge right hand he missed but got credit for scoring. Close round but in no way did Kov clearly win that round that I'm seeing all this crying over.

Those of you giving Kov the 12th. I can't even take you serious. That's truly but hurt thinking and you clearly don't know how to score rounds.

You can lie to yourselves all you want but at the end of the day...114-113. Deal with it.

I don't care about popularity contests either. Majority of people dnsab or are pushing agenda or need hits like the Steve Kim's and Fat Dans of the world. Ward won. Rematch will come soon enough.

Not a robbery, in that it was possible to see how it could be scored for Ward if you were looking for it, but still the wrong decision.

To really analyze the fight you half to rewatch it. Watching it the first time around I was pretty harsh on Kovalev during rounds after the knockdown. I was disappointed that Kovalev refused to finish Ward whether intentional or not. I was giving Ward rounds for just surviving now that I rewatch it. My first score was a draw but now I gave the first 6 rds all to Kovalev then turned it off because I got really bored with it. It was entertaining the first time but definitely not a fight that is entertaining to watch a second time. My first time scoring the second half I remember I gave like 1 rd to Kov and had another even. So no matter the outcome Kov was up by 2 or 3 rds.

Very disappointed in Kovalev though, he should have been able to finish Ward but instead he slowed down.

to be fair, if it was being recognised as a close fight by judges, it would be reflected in their awarding a split decision. giving it unanimously to ward is ostensibly a robbery in light of that.
