Duran if enlarged to 6"2 215 or more would be like an Ali that could punch like Dempsey...Duran had speed power and tecnique, went to the body, head, could box coming in and was a hell of an infighter....IF you take Duran @ 135 and enlarged him, he would beat Ali by KO and most of the other Heavys, Louis and Marciano would be the hardest style for him

not really Ali could do to Duran what Leonard did in their rematch. Ali had a lot better footwork than any heavy when in peak condition. Duran had to fight in-close. Ali would fight at long range like Leonard did in their rematch.

As for how they would do h2h, it's really anybody's guess. It's so hypothetical that it's impossible to really say anything educated about it.

What can be said is that Doug Jones probably was the one of Ali's opponents that was the most similar to Duran (but much inferior of course). Of Duran's opponents I suppose that Leonard and Benitez are the ones that were closest to Ali stylewise.

Duran does not rank higher than Ali. His lightweight competition was as good as Ali's at heavyweight? That is how you have to rate Duran since his wins after lightweight are all loses to the legends of the 1980s.
