I dont know about that. Bendo is just as deadly as Also and bigger. His cardio is only equaled by Edgar. Also gets tired easy. Remember that Hominick gave Aldo problems with his technical striking, Edgar has a better stand up than Hominick by a margin.
He's clearly an elite level 155er. It's just that his lack of size in the division and his style guarantees this type of fight over and over and over again against the other top LWs.
I would rank Aldo's deadliness over Bendo's, even with the size difference. Aldo is one of the most lethal strikers in the game, whereas Bendo seems to struggle to finish at times. I would rate Bendo's sub game over Aldo's, but we haven't really seen his, because he hasn't really needed to show it.
True, but the few times we've seen him against high level wrestlers, who everyone thought would give him fits, he seems to step his game up to a higher level. It's just my opinion, but I don't think Aldo gets up for guys that he might not deem a threat.
He always seems to hurt guys without ending it. I have to agree. At 145 his overhand rights would end fights. I just hate to see him chased out of 155lbs after what seems to be a fight, that most folks thought he won.
I have no idea how you can score it for Henderson. He simply didn't do much of anything after the first round. Round 1: Henderson Round 2: Edgar Round 3: Could go either way. Draw realistically but could go either way Round 4: Edgar Round 5: Edgar It's either 49-46 Edgar or at worst it's 48-47.
I must be missing something with the fourth :conf: Was a fast paced fight so I'll watch the replay tomorrow
This is how I scored it. I had Frankie ahead in the fourth because he knocked Bendo down, although not impressively or while hurting him, and the rest of the round Bendo landed one significant strike(another term I hate), while I thought Frankie landed two.
It was even imo, until Frankie threw Bendo to the mat. After that I thought, might be misremembering, Frankie had a striking advantage.
I would certainly give Edgar the edge in cardio. Unfortunately for him, I think it would be all over for him before it became a factor.
Dont know man, Hominick took him deep and Frankies just as gutsy. Frankie doesnt just stand there. Aldo to me at least, has not faced the high level competition thats Frankie has, its going to be a huge step up.
