Sounds like Konwacki, Ortiz, Whyte, and Pulev all turned the opportunity down.

    Who's left?
    • Trevor Bryan - based in NY state
    • Otto Wallin - OFFERED to TAKE FIGHT on IG & FB
    • Kubrat Pulev - just fought last month
    • Agit Kabayel -
    • Oscar Rivas -
WBA top 5: Charr, Bryan, Miller, Oquendo, Whyte, Wallin
IBF top 5: Pulev, Kabayel, Kownacki, Wallin
WBO top 5: Whyte, Shhwarz, Miller, Fury, Rivas

Good catch but iffy. Hearn quote on Luis Ortiz “Love that fight. Love that fight. That is an ideal scenario. That is a big fight. His team spoke to us, my feeling from them was he won’t be ready. I disagree with them. The argument is that’s a better fight or a tougher fight than Jarrell Miller, some might say.”

Ortiz said he would take the fight if his management could clear it.

I voted Pulev just cause ..N.Yers like mayhem and you could sell this fight on Pulevs outside the ring stuff.

Then I thought wait...is he under suspension bc of that cut in his last fight ?

Pulev is more dangerous with his last showing then a Hunter , Pulev has a lot of experience and a sizeable HW.

I give Hunter about a 1.0 % chance of winning which actually is the back up for Joshua, Ortiz is the ideal choice but he will only fight Wilder on 7 weeks notice NOT Joshua ,i'm sure he'll STILL have no problem saying Joshua ducked him afterwards like the rest though...:roflmao:

His management has carefully selected his opposition for him so far. its why his best win was FOUR years ago.

This is how stupid Ortiz is,he doesn't realize he can fight who he wants as he's the fighter ,they work for him and if that takes a breach of contract ,then so be it . IF Ortiz REALLY wants the fight it will happen with a few phone calls. :icon_tfno:

Pulev was horrific in his last fight it was his deficiencies that made the fight exciting pulev is nowhere near Joshua’s level, there’s been nothing in the last 2 years that suggests otherwise, he deserves nothing. Kownacki, is the best option available, but the truth is this fight is a washout, it does Joshua more damage if he fights on that date there’s no opponent available, if it’s not Ortiz or kownacki there’s no point even if it is either he’s better off faking injury

Will and should are two different things

I'd like to see him face Luis Ortiz or Kubrat Pulev.

But I'm thinking it'll be Michael Hunter or Oscar Rivas
