I have a couple of sources saying Frazier "a couple" of teeth and one saying he lost two teeth. I suspect six is an exaggeration.

I think it matters more who lands the most punches per round. Perhaps I wouldn't make the best of judges?:think

He may not have. Seriously. I think he did but he may not have. Archie Moore seems to have got this story going. So, who knows?

    WTF are you talking about?

If a fighter throws punches, misses and gets countered, than yes, defense made a difference and the defensive fighter gets credit, not for the missed punch, but for the counter he landed.

If a ultra defensive fighter didn't throw a punch during a round, blocked 80% of them got hit with 20% of them, he still lost the round, simply because he landed less punches.

Round two was a very clear Foreman round.

    I detailed the whole round.

I can actually say without doubt the punches I counted in fact landed. No guesswork involved.

Why do you continue to misquote me as well. I gave you the exact number of jabs, and you deliberately down graded it several times now. At one point you even claimed I said no jabs landed.

I know what I wrote, you know what I wrote, who are you performing for? You only make your self look less intelligent by getting a simple quote wrong over and over.

I did not take the time to break down the round, so you could misquote me and use emoticons. It won't happen again.

    Not really a fact.

By my count, they were close with most of Foremans lands being tap jabs where he was trying to find the range.

He still had his mouth guard in, so if anything he may have had some knocked loose but certainly no shower of teeth flying through the air. That's cartoon ****

You if you want to criticize me for a punch you feel I counted and perhaps never landed, you're certainly going to get called on your ridiculous description of the round you provided.

Based on the post you wrote, which I originally thought was a blow by blow account of the whole round, you had Foreman landing maybe 2-3 jabs and maybe one power punch.

When I outlaid what I thought happened in that round, you largely agreed with it, and yet it was vastly different from what you originally wrote.

I was quite prepared to let this go, until you're repeated comment about my scoring a punch that was at least in your view, clearly a miss. (and maybe it was, I haven't watched it again) but if you want to criticize my account of the round, then I'm calling you on your absolutely ridiculous rendering of what you claim transpired.

Just so you're clear what I'm talking about here it is again.

8:47-Frazier gets caught by a Foreman jab while clowning
8:48-Foreman pushes Frazier back with an outstretched glove and a right hand appears to be blocked (if it landed it wasn't very clean)
8:49-Uppercut misses...by a god damn mile, follow up sweep misses.
    8:50-Jab misses
8:51-Foreman throws a combo but every punch misses, however it does force Frazier to back into the ropes. He clearly wasn't knocked there by punches though, man. They are big slow swings, and you can clearly see them coming up short. This isn't slow motion microscope work.
8:55-Foreman's Jab/Uppercut/Hook combo is all slipped with Frazier on the ropes
8:55-Frazier lands a very clean counter left hook that momentarily stuns Foreman and forces him to reset. Great Power Punch.
    8:57-Foreman jab misses.
8:58-Some Foreman paws that don't touch Frazier
    9:01-They both miss
    9:04-Foreman right hook lands
9:10-Foreman his Frazier's guard a few times, looking for openings
9:11-Big uppercut misses by a god damn mile
9:15-Foreman misses an ugly combo by a god damn mile.
9:16-Frazier with a clean left hook
9:20-9:30 Foreman taps at Frazier's guard and misses more jabs. Frazier gets off the ropes.
    9:40-Foreman misses a swinging combo
    9:46-Frazier jab lands
    9:48-Foreman jab misses
    9:51-Foreman jab misses
    9:54-Foreman jab lands/right swing misses
9:58-Frazier left hook glances, Foreman rolled with it
10:14-Foreman hooks at Frazier's guard (possible one got the body)
    10:16-Foreman jab/hook combo misses
10:18-Frazier hook lands behind the ear
10:19-Lunging jab hits Foreman's eye as tries to pull away
10:31-Frazier jab lands, eye catching punch
    10:33-Foreman misses
10:35-Foreman misses an arm wreary combo
10:43-Foreman hits below the belt, hip
    10:47-Foreman misses some arm punches
10:48-Left Hook rocks Foreman back momentarily
    10:52-appear to trade jabs

Now if I count this, I get exactly one jab landing by Foreman, (I incorrectly said none the first time, my error) and maybe 2 Foreman power shots. If you get a different punch count, let me know.

Obviously this is vastly different from the majority of posters who watched this round, as well as your own critique of my account of the round.

    Reconcile this for me, please.

    Scoring punches or not?

BTW. I don't think it was dominant round by Foreman, just that
he did enough to win it.

I'm calling you out for what you described as a big punch that a blind man could see didnt land.

Again...I stress nothing was vastly different from what I originally wrote. I did a side by side contrast that quoted our individual observations with no changes. What was different, point it out or stop that stupid claim.

You are not calling me on anything, you are deliberately exaggerating my claims to portray them as something they are not. If you feel my post is ridiculous you can challenge any miss I called.

Uh, I count three jabs in that post. Which is a continuation of another post that has the first half of the round broke down.

I scored the ones that tapped his head, not the ones that touched his gloves or arms.
