More than likely. Or it could have been 84" or 76".

    Is Peaky Blinders any good?

I'm on my 3rd run of 24 atm

Although I'm currently the designated driver at a house party so I can't describe my situation as Tickety Boo lol.

I think the biggest guy Greb beat was joe cox who was, according to the internet 6'5" and about 200 lbs. He was a journeyman but a solid one although at the end of the line.

I need to check how wills did versus slicks before I could weigh in.

I question if the 6' 2" is correct. The old Ring Record Book listed him as 6' 4" and it was compiled by men who knew Wills well.

Perhaps more importantly, the film of the Wills-Firpo fight to me shows Wills as a trifle taller--an inch or so--than Firpo

And I would have doubts about any of these reach figures being accurate.

What we know for certain is that Wills was 25 to 30 pounds heavier than Tunney,

and he seems tall and rangy rather than broad and stocky.

    who knows? really

but I certainly think 80" or above is possible.

Roger Kahn made a point (which I question) about Carpentier's reputation shrinking while Wills has grown,

but Wills is really the incredible shrinking heavyweight, getting shorter and shorter, with a more and more stunted reach, year by year.

Other than the outright giants--Willard and Carnera, if included--there might not have been a really top heavyweight who was as tall as Wills until the last generation or so.

People think that because I am a huge Dempsey fan I have a downer on Wills but these threads hopefully give us a fresh perspective on him.I'm just about to make another.
