Poll:Who would win Adrien Broner vs Ricky Burns

I see it as an even money matchup. Broner is good but nowhere near as good as he, HBO and his avid fan boys on here seem to have people believe. Burns would be by far the best win of his carrer if he pulled it off (which currently is a coked up Eloy Perez and going life and death with Ponce De Leon).

I can see it going to the scorecards and Broner getting the benefit of a close fight as no way Broner goes to Scotland to tackle Burns.

 

I've got Broner by stoppage. But would love it if Burns beat him.

 

Demarco a bigger threat to Broner.

Because alot of people think Broner is over rated.

Besides that Burns is nothing like anyone Broner has faced before, Broner has had the size advantage in every fight I've seen of his and I'm not sure of his ability to nullify a jab as good as Burns'

I think its a 50/50 fight, a victory for either fighter would be the best of their careers so far, so naturally I'll go with Burns.

Think it's a pick em fight really. Burns has the potential to simply out work Broner. Broner would not have the advantages he's normally accustomed to in this fight. That said, Broner is improving all the time and is young. Burns by very close decision is my prediction.

 

The only advantage Broner would not have is height.

Every other advantage, Broner.

Although, again, I hate getting so far ahead on this. Demarco is a much more formidable opponent for Broner, and himself is better than Burns in almost every conceivable way.

Neither gives one shyte about Burns right now.

 

Gotta see more of Burns before I can actually make a solid pick.

 

Burns has a higher work rate. Better ability to fight on the inside.

Broner's footwork is no better. He's rather clumsy in fact (the comparisons to Floyd make me cringe.)

Broner has more power and a slight speed advantage.

DeMarco is the more proven lightweight right now as is Vazquez so that's a good fight. After those two, Burns is right up there. He just hasn't been at the weight long enough to prove himself as much as DeMarco.

 

Burns is very under-rated on the inside, he has some nice tricks
