Before Burns vs Mitchell I would have given the edge to "the problemchild".
Now, I believe Burns outpoints him.

Not that Mitchell actually was that good, but the way Mitchell handled him, I think he's better as Ponce.

    Burns UD

    I like Broner by decision.

However, those foks who think mini-May walks through Ricky are seriously mistaken.

Elvis makes some excellent points. Burns has an excellent array of punches and can land well in combinations. His jab is impressive enough to negate Broner's speed to IMO plus he can take the power.

Based on what we've seen so far, I pick Burns on points.

I think Broner would handle Katsidis and Mitchell rather easily as well .

I wont be picking against Burns anytime soon.

The better the opponent, the better he is.

Now I'm not comparing Ricky to JMM,so keep your toupees on,but has Broner fought anyone
in their prime who is particularly good at punching at long range,a la Marquez, because I think that's Ricky's second best attribute and biggest improvement.
His rapier jab will always be his main asset.

Holy **** Burns is getting massively overrated. He is a good fighter, but not on Broner's level. Broner would win by stoppage and go on to become a star, while Burns can aspire to be a tough contender.

  11. Burns would beat Boner Lol I mean Broner. He has the better boxing set, speed does not win you fights.
While I am here I notice you have Canelo as your AV, tell me what you think about him?

You have your opinion and I have mine, but like I see Broner as the more skilled of the two and I honestly don't see Burns amounting to much. When he starts fighting fighters outside of GB and the rest of Europe then we can really determine his true value.

As for Canelo, I see a very promising future. He definately has the skill, persona, and following to become the next mega star, but we definately need to see him step up against better opposition. He is very young and has already accomplished alot. His fame, resume, and skill are constantly on a steady increase, so I'm definately excited to see Boxing's newest poster boy rise to the top.

Because they're Scottish. They're almost as bad as Filipinos and Pacquiao.

Has Burns ever fought anyone the same height as him or with the same size reach?
