Mixed pro/am gala, with three Olympic qualifiers and then four preliminary bouts ahead of the main event.

Cieslak could very well get the stoppage here. He packs a decent punch with a mean streak to boot unlike Fayfer. I'm sure that rematch with Makabu is on his mind so he'll be looking to impress.

I fear we're not going to get that rematch anytime soon. Makabu has Papin II for his next defense and will then likely pluck somebody from the lower end of the WBC top 15 rankings, or maybe rematch Mchunu to dispatch his mandatory and then consider himself due to milk some lighter touch defenses. Cieślak if he is successful tonight is rumored to have potential bouts with countrymen Jeżewski (a rematch as well) or Masternak, and seems poised to go the IBF route chasing after Briedis rather than hoping for a fair shake versus Makabu.

Was aware of Makabu/Papin II but not the other stuff (really can't be bothered to follow boxing that closely these days - so thanks for the info) In a fair world Cleslak would have been given a rematch in Poland, he really had the deck stacked against him in the Congo.

Jezevski is a journeyman, no one self respecting lad if he wish to have serious career had agreed with such short notice vs Okolie in eddie promotion.
Paycheck lad for dudes who are under big uncles and sorry, 0 self respect there.
Not because he had lost, only guy who does value pay check higher than his boxing future might agree to fight in eddie promotion vs Okolie with short notice.
He just is nothing more than short notice journeyman for his career nothing more.

I quite like Cieslak and expect him stop Kashinsky.

Stanioch should be too fresh and active for Talarek. Stanioch looks decent enough from the amateur fights online.

Also how are two Polish fighters fighting for the WBC Francophone title?

Hardzeika beat Rutkowski by Majority Decision (77-75, 77-75, 76-76).
