    Round 5

Kuzakhmedov is fencing with Chudecki, very wary on the outside. Chudecki putting out high right jabs and Kuzakhmedov slapping down with his left glove to check them. Plenty of space between them. Kuzakhmedov taking big wide circuitous steps in hemispherical sweeps on the outside. Big looping left thrown by Chudecki after nearly dragging his knuckles on the canvas, just barely clips the ear or temple of Kuzakhmedov as his feet were together and he's knocked off balance, into a tripod pose. He is given a count, though he argues with the ref. Nah kid, that was a legit (if flash) KD. He spends the rest of the round prancing counter-clockwise and tossing light jabs up top and yo-yoing right hands on the body from a safe distance.

    10-8 Chudecki

    49-45 Chudecki

    Round 6

Kuzakhmedov is playing keep-away, not letting any of Chudecki's headhunting bear fruit. Solitary left hand leads downstairs getting a piece as Chudecki dives in headfirst, but that's all he's being allowed. Kuzakhmedov never setting his feet, buzzing the hairline of Chudecki with long left jabs and occasionally stretching out a right cross to nick his nape. Good little chess match unfolding here, if a little too laden with clinches when Chudecki manages to barge in.

    10-9 Kuzakhmedov

    58-55 Chudecki

    Round 7

Kuzakhmedov is alert on his toes, now facing redoubled efforts from Chudecki, who is rushing in and throwing left uppercuts carving a niche in the Ukrainian's chest. The jabs of Kuzakhmedov doing naught to discourage Chudecki. Many of them actually being slipped as Chudecki gathers his arms in a bundle over his waistband to adopt a seated position and sway to either side defensively after posting up in front of Kuzakhmedov and baiting him into throwing. When he retracts his long arms, Kuzakhmedov is vulnerable to Chudecki throwing left handed spears at the body or heavy combos reaching up top.

    10-9 Chudecki

    68-64 Chudecki

    Round 8

Kuzakhmedov is stepping in with Chudecki and hacking down with a right hand behind the jab, even as he is force-fed a soaring left hand. Kuzakhmedov gets bold for a spell in the first minute or so, but is RATTLED by an especially charged-up left hand at the ninety second mark, and is quick to resume his spoiler role. Jab 'n' grab all over again. Chudecki is feeling himself, spiraling in close on Kuzakhmedov and doubling a right jab in his face, then veering outside again to start over. Chudecki predatory, just swooping in and pecking at him. They exchange jab feints the last twenty seconds or so, just posing.

    10-9 Chudecki

    78-73 Chudecki

They award Michał with a trophy as the Polish doppelganger of Hank Azaria interviews him.

I say bring on the Damian Wrzesinski rubber match. (Chudecki and Wrzesinski fought twice in 2018, an eight round draw in April followed by a 10-round SD for Wrzesinski a few days before Christmas for the vacant Republic of Poland 140lb title)

Assuming that Wrzesinski gets past Kamil Mlodzinski a month from now. If not, give Chudecki another crack at the belt against Mlodzinski.

I’m in agreement. If I recall, the bout in December was fun to watch. It could probably headline a card too, rather than being third from the top like it was last time
