Krzysztof "The Scorpion" Cieślak is Michał's older brother, no? He was a prospect, I remember, long before Michał appeared on the scene, but got upset by a then-unknown Felix Lora (who since has developed a super-journeyman reputation).

WHOA, and The Scorpion just lost this 4-rounder to 11-13-1 Artem Ayvazidi!!!

Clearly the lesser talent of the family. (no matter what Michał goes on to accomplish - or not)

 

I tuned in just in time for the scorecard reading...beforehand Krzysztof looked hopeful but not confident, and didn't seem too upset afterward. Guessing he got out-hustled? It already seemed years ago like his desire was gone, along with his zero (as soon as Lora snatched it)

 

Pawel Czyżyk vs. Igor Porębski, 6 rounds @ light heavyweight

 

So then he's decidedly the Bobby to our co-headliner's Manny. (or Matthew to Ricky...Anthony to Lamont, in any event...)

 

Round 1

Czyżyk is boxing well, keeping Porębski on the end of his jab and dropping it through Porębski's guard to prod his chest. A few 1-2-3s from Czyżyk late in the round are the closest either man gets to a series of cleanly made connections, as most of the round is a tit-for-tat of mostly blocked exchange as they feel one another out and circle at mid-range cautiously, each taking his turn rushing in with a flurry but not getting through with much.

Another somewhat close and uneventful one, but probably more than shaded by Czyżyk on activity, plus he's the only guy in there showing he knows what a jab is.
