Broner if nothing else has very, very fast hands. He's explosive.

Gamboa is of course one of the fastest fighters in the world. Whether Ponce does **** poor or well, will the recent fight against a fighter as fast as Broner help him out here as well?

It couldn't hurt.. Broner is fast, but Gamboa is on another level. But, I see how just having fought a fast handed fighter like Broner could somewhat have helped Ponce with this bout.. Especially confidence wise, because he, in many peoples eyes won that fight.

I can see relations such as Broner is very fast ( not as fast as Gamboa ) and powerful but Gamboa is a whole new ball game. I think it might be a little helpful but I am a Broner fan and Gamboa is Broner multiplied by 2. He won't beat Gamboa but since Ponce De Leon and Gomboa are both action packed, risk taking fighters it will be a back and fourth war in which in the end I see gamboa on top.

it won't cover it. Broner and Gamboa are alike in ways and are both talented but Gamboa is better.

Has Ponce been wobbled in any fight since he was knocked out by Lopez?

I think broner is more dicsiplined so it should help, but gamboa's speed is another level, but I think he can draw him into a war and not a boxing match

Broner fought very negative, backpedaled all night. I've got zero doubt Gamboa is easier to hit then a defensive minded Broner.

Ponce is going to be way to slow for Gamboa I don't care how you look at it, this fight will last as long as Gamboa would like it to last.

Yes, Broner a G and he performed very well against him, Juanma was just wrong for De leon and the way PDL stormed out the gates led to his downfall... I hope he is more Patient with Gamboa to give us an Interesting match.

Ponce's chances reside with low activity from Gamboa (??) and a couple of accurate bombs. Otherwise Gamboa KO/TKO early to mid rounds. Either way I think the Under is very tasty.

Best of luck to Ponce though!!

    The answer= NO.

Ponce while being very slow ( against fighters with decent hand speed ), has very bad technique. He throws his punches wide open and picks his shots one at a time. Gamboa is 2 times faster than Broner and 3 times more powerful, plus Gamboa also has that incredible amateur career to help him. Does Ponce have any chances against Gamboa? His only chance is a wonder power punch and for that to happen is as difficult as gargling water upside down! Oh and Gamboa can also take a good whack too, he actually has a better chin than what most of you think.

If Broner ( who is nothing spectacular ) was able to land at will then Gamboa is going to pick Ponce apart in less than 6 rounds. I feel bad for Ponce, he is a very nice person and all Mexicans should be proud of him. Very humble guy.
