Not entirely sure since I haven't seen Broner in action. But I do know that Ponce is a differant man than the impossibly crude bomber who lunged in with inaccurate hayemaker until he scored the kayo shot. Depending on how much he's improved from the fighter who got waxed by Ceballero, sparked by JML, and was made to look like a rank amatuer, connecting with only 5% of his punches against Gerry Penalosa, I think he could definitely beat Broner and pose some interesting problems to Lopez in a rematch.
And Ponce is even stronger for this fight.. Hes been training at my gym with MMA ref and former MMA champ Larry Landless whos his strength and conditioning trainer... He was doing lot of plyometrics and how to handle the bigger Broner inside... Landless also said Daniel is very strong that he can even feel his strength and Larry is about 6-2 and a solid 250..... They are meeting at a catchweight Ponce Deleon going up to JL and Broner coming down from LW. Ive never seen Broner fight but Ponce has gone the extra mile in training for this fight, hes been looking real good.
Broner is funny as all hell he thinks he's Floyd Mayweather it will be funny if he wins tonight because he will be calling out Pac and everyone. lol
