Ponce de Leon is the favorite against Escalante.

Really!?

I was expecting Escalante to be the heavy favorite. I wouldnt bet on this fight though, Escalate's chin is going up against someone that has power. He could outbox PDL for awhile but eventually hes going to get caught in a war and Escalante isnt going to back away from one.

 

Dam I dont know who to pick in this one. Judging by what Escalante has been saying I have a feeling hes gonna coast to a easy decision. He said something about not making every fight a war and doing whatever it is to win.

 

Not surprising. Tony is very much underrated. Besides me pushing Tony on here and a handful of other posters, Tony doesn't get to much thread time on here. I've got Tony by a wide UD.

 

speed and crisp punches will be the difference in this fight......escalante will land first making ponces punches less effective.....only way i see ponce winning is if he lands first, but i doubt it....ponces punches are sloppy and easily smothered....escalante bull rushes in with speed, beats him everytime and probably stops him........

 

I think De Leon will KO Escalante, or a close win .

 

I guess you havent seen Escalante chin when got KTFO by 5'2 Pastrana.Ponce can only be beat by elite cabalerro and Juan Ma. Not these youngens who are unproven at the higher level.

 

Fan of both fighters but this was expected and I called it right, just didn't post it on this thread.
