I thought PDL won but a couple of rounds tops, not a robbery. But does show up the people who think Broner is some phenom.

 

Broner's style is going to struggle with lateral movement because his stance is so wide. PDL was obviously wary of his power because he was on the back foot for most of the fight(which isn't his style). I thought Broner did enough down the stretch to take it, but it was a bad performance from him.

Interesting, Broner had 319 amateur fights and his idol Floyd had much fewer at 90.

I honestly don't understand why PDL isn't a star. His fight with Juanma was his big chance I suppose, and imho whoever landed the first bomb was going to win that fight and it turned out to be Juanma. He put Gamboa on a bicycle. Other than that, he's done everything that it takes to be a HUGE name, and the boxing establishment seems to be 100% determined to ignore him or pretend he's some middle of the pack guy. He CLEARLY beat Broner, and no amount of jockriding can erase that fact.
