This fight is pointless, the first fight was pretty boring although it was hillarious seeing Deleon running from a defensive fighter much much smaller than him.

I see the same outcome, Deleon winning by outworking Penalosa.

I see the same thing. I'm a big Penalosa fan, but he's either going to be careful and let Deleon dictate the fight by outworking him, or he's going to open a lot more and go on the attack, which if he does, he's going to get hurt (not sure if he'll get KO'ed, Penalosa has a great chin).

Unless he somehow floors PDL with a couple of counters, he'll have a chance. But considering how much many flush counters he landed on PDL in the first without PDL even wincing, I just don't see it happening.

I thought it was hilarious too, how Ponce was trying "box" Penalosa at the end of the fight by slapping and running.

penalosa hasn't been KD'd or KO'd in his 60+ fights. he's probably one of the best filipino technical boxers ever. if ponce wins, it will be via decision as penalosa's defense is very fundamentally sound to allow ponce to land his punches squarely.

ow man. i really like gerry but de leon is all wrong for him!!! i honestly believed him when he said he'd retire after inning the championship against gonzales. he should have kept his word. IMHO, de leon won the first fight but the gerry won more rounds than what the judges scored.

sorry gerry, but i have to say de leon by UD again

De Leon should fight Celestino "The Towering Inferno" Caballero, his only loss
    in his career.

bad fight for gerry... he should already retire after the gonzales bout... PDL with a wide Unanimous decision... i dont see Penalosa getting Ko'd he has never hit the canvas and he never will...

I say it's not a good move for Penalosa to face De Leon again. Ponce De Leon will starch Gerry this time. Hanging gloves should be the next wise move after winning over Gonzales.

I have to go for Gerry, but I know it'll take a nightly prayer revival for him to win this fight. Ponce is getting better.

I will give Penalosa a chance to pull an upset but I won't favor him in this rematch.
