He's strong and hits hard, but I think he loses at the elite level. He is just way too crude and has very shitty technique.

 

Rafael & Izzy kills him. A fight against Vic would be great and entertaining aswell as bizzare.

he won't beat any of the champs at 122. and if penalosa trains hard and lets his hands go, i'd think he could pull it off.

you gotta love de leon for his work ethic, passion in training and willingness to fight often and with anyone but his technique is just ****

 

Cabellero, Vazquez & Marquez all beat De Leon easily he is just far too crude & wild.
If he could be matched with Vic that would be crazy to see.

 

He has 0% chance of beating Rafa or Izzy. Both have better power than him with 10* more skill and speed.

 

izzy and rafa moving up will happen sooner rather than later.

 

de leon like most other brawlers is fun to watch against guys who stand up or just move forward, but against movers he can't box for ****. he's fun to watch though i.e bautista fight.

 

he's unorthodox as hell.. he fights like an amateur.. no skill or footwork whatsoever.. its funny to watch though.. especially when he wins..

 

yeah, de leon performs better against chinny fighters. but give him a caballero and he'll look like ****

 

But the fact is if you're not a top-10 guy in the division, you'll never get past him.

 

Which means Mares has to be on his butt 3 times in the first round right?
