after the boom-boom fight i didn't like the idea of penalosa fighting him again but after watching yesterdays fight i really think penalosa could definitely get a W in a rematch.

Watching him is like watching a pre historic caveman. If his opponent had been more pro active he would have won that decision.

Only thing is I don't think Deleons power is overrated. So you would have to take some risk and big shots to beat him. His opponent seemed wary to engage, and for good reason, Deleon can crack!

When your throwing shots from the crowd and beneath the ring apron is it any wonder. The kid is wide open to almost any type of counter.

He is just a less technical version of Mayorga at 147....The difference is, Mayorga could beat top fighters. De Leon cannot, unless he learns how to box...

18yr old AJ Banal can move up from 115-122 & will still School Ponce. PDL sucks, the ugliest style I've ever seen. But I still like to watch him rather than Raheem or Casa. He's still funny exciting.

    He already did :rofl

De Leon is trying to learn how to box, and that's why he looked like crap this fight. He actually looked better when he used to just maul people with no regards to defense.

De Leon has already beaten some top fighters, so saying he can't is ludicrous. He hasn't beaten the creme de la creme, but he's beaten about 5 different top 10 guys in his weight class. Any Izzy, Rafa, Caballero or Molitor beats him though.

Caballero would still make the best fight with the trilogy winner. He looked like crap his last fight, but a focused Caballero has the potential to give them a hard time with his huge reach and awkwardness. When Caballero consistently uses his jab, he's one of the toughest nuts to crack in the lower weight classes (see his fights vs Sithchatchawal, Ponce or Marquez for examples). He just loses focus way too much, and as a result doesn't fight smart and gets hit way more than he should.
