I have no idea how he did not retire after the Tony Cook fight. And Tony Cook had only one fight himself, which he had lost to another guy with mostly "L"s on his record.

The fact that he's Latvian is another huge plus.

 

His surname is what happens to him anytime an opponent checks that chin!

 

I think something a lot more sinister is going on here, looks like you've just stumbled on a bonafide "fall guy"

That place is a shady operation. Seen similar clips before. It´s a record padding station. Those seem to be mostly fixed fights.

 

This guy had a nice long sustained career of losing, Peter Buckley retired at 32-256-12. Yup, 256 career loses. Talk about perseverance.
