Pongsaklek Wonjongkam vs Sonny Boy Jaro RBR

Fight is scheduled to come on in 15 minutes, but there is rain in the area. We'll see what happens.

 

Yeah, it is. Usually this Thai fights with Pong are in this same arena. Not sure what it's called, but yeah, it's outdoors.

 

Just to get up to speed Pongsaklek-Jaro are in the ring. A bit cloudy...should be fine though. And in the ring, as is customary in this Thai fights, there are a bunch of suits in the ring. They get their name called, they walk forward, bow their heads. This usually takes quite a long, long time.

 

:yep I assume it's a bit cold there. So, it'll probably take a couple of rounds for them to get warm and for things to start heating up.

With all the suits in the ring, they bring in a podium. This one dude in a suit is giving a 10 minute speech. He stops. And now a dude with a pink shirt is talking, for about 4 minutes now and counting....

 

All right, finally! The ring announcer comes out....this guy usually takes awhile as well, but at least were getting there. Round 1 should start in about 10 minutes.

 

Round 1

Jaro comes out swinging! Big right uppercut! Pongsaklek in a bit of trouble! No warm up here left hook by Jaro! Big right hand to the head! To the body! Swinging wildly is Jaro! And down goes Pongsaklek! Pongsaklek looks a bit wobbly! Here we go Jaro comes out of the neutral corner ready to pounce! Pongsaklek now answers! Big left by Pong! Jaro again swinging wildly, and Pong is there to answer with a straight left hand! And another! The crowd is going wild!! Pong backing up, right hook, straight left. jaro eats it and keeps going wild right hand to head and body. Pong straight left, another straight counter left! Big round!

Round 2

They stand in the center of the ring for now. Pong looking good and calm now. Pongsaklek with a straight left hand right in the face of Jaro. Jaro coming foward little right hand by Jaro gets in, Ping jabbing keeping distance a bit, STRAIGHT LEFT AND DOWN GOES JARO! NO! Ref is ruling that a slip. Jaro in a bit of trouble though, is backing up. Left by Pong, another left, Jaro comes back with a right uppercut. Jaro regains his legs and plods forward a bit. Pongsaklek pawing jab, followed by a left hand. Every left hand gets an OOHHHH!! from the crowd.

Round 3

Pong starts the round going to the body. Straight left another left hook, Jaro tries to answer with a right uppercut. That misses. Pong steps out of range. Pace is slowing down a bit now, Pong with a left, another left ANOTHER LEFT! Pong with a 1-2-3. Jaro plodding forward and missing. Pong counters with a left again. Jaro missing badly with the right hand and Pong is carving him up now. Jaro getting closer, and another headbutt. Left hook to the body by Jaro, Pong with a right hook of his own. Jaro misses with a right hand, Pong with a left. Jaro gets in close fires off a couple of left hooks.

Round 4

A couple of rights to the body by Jaro, Pong doesn't like those, goes to the ropes, Jaro firing away! Big right! Big left! Pong goes down! Slip? I think the ref ruled a slip there, but Jaro is bulling Pong on the ropes. Right! left! Right left! And Pong is moving to the right, but still on the ropes and Jaro is pounding away! BIG RIGHT HAND ON the temple PONG IS BENDING OVER! THE ROPES ARE KEEPIGN HIM UP HE GOES DOWN! Ref lets it go though, Jaro is pounding away. Pong slips away from the ropes. jaro may'be a bit tired. Pong jogging away. Pong is very uncomfortable, Pong with a sneaky uppercut as Jaro is walking forward Jaro with a right to the body! That hurts Pong! BIG STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND THE STRAIGHTIST JARO HAS THROWN AND PONG IS BADLY HURT IN A CORNER AND IS STAGGERING GETTING UP! He gets up badly hurt, the 10 second bell sounds and Jaro pounces winging right hand! Left hand! PONG IS ON THE ROPES! AND THE BELL SOUNDS Jaro gets a couple of shots in there after the bell.
