Awesome job, DD. Those first four rounds were edge-of-seat stuff; it's just too bad Thai TV7 screwed you out of being able to finish the call in the 5th and 6th.

It's good you were up for it, because a) it completely slipped my mind that this would be on in the wee hours of Thursday night/Friday morning for us Westerners and b) even had I remembered/realized that, it would have been a struggle to stay up for it. Battling a bug, and need my beauty rest besides!

Anyway, agreed that it could have been stopped much, much sooner.

 

Hopefully I will be able to see the replay of this fight on youtube. But based on Dan's posts of the fight (and thank you, Dan, for them), I wonder if Wonjongkam simply got cold while being in the ring with everybody talking, then got tagged in the 1st round before he could get properly warmed up, and never recovered from that. There is no excuse for bringing fighters into the ring and letting them cool for 10-15 minutes. Hopefully there will be a rematch indoors and without yapping.

Damn, Wonkongkam got downright KTFO.
