Poon's management reached a deal with Golden Boy and will have him fight in the States later this year. Apparently, Poon wants to fight Steve Luevano in Vegas later this year, which means he'll likely being moving up to 126.

Not really crazy about the move up in weight, but I'm excited to see dude live on US television. :bbb

Not sure about the move up in weight. He's a small guy and should stick to his current weight. Am glad we will be seeing more of him though.

Yep, Poonsawat-Nishioka is the fight to make, the Thai monster is small even at 122, he'd be a midget at 126. But boy he can fight! Would be an interesting addition to an already awesome FW pack!

Poon is too short for that weight division. He should clean out 122, and beat everyone who wants to come up, Montiel, Hasegawa etc.

He doesn't have the frame to beat the best at 126. He'll beat Luevano though.
Christ will that division be stacked when he moves up. He probably won't stay there though.

    IDIOTIC
WHAT THE **** THE DUDE IS FIVE FOOT THREE AND A career 118 pounder

if he gets past Luevano he is simply going to lose to other guys based on his inferior size that he may be better than

    stay at 122
