I know for a fact that Katsidis was the favourite with the bookies over here in the UK, so he was obviously the fave everywhere else for the fight against Mitchell. Joyi is a beast of a fighter, held the physical advantages, the better form line and was at home against Garcia - again I would have made him favourite before the fight. I'll give you the Uchiyama-Salgado fight, but due to the nature of Salgado's win over Linares, was it just a fluke that he was champion? Uchiyama was a top amateur and, apart from being wobbled by Bando, looked very good in his pro career, although his opposition wasn't the best. I'd say it was more a 50-50 before the fight and not in Salgado's favour, especially with him being the 'away' fighter.
