Why the hell would he take this Pacquiao fight? :rofl:lol:

All money. Gotta hate it when a fighter goes through with this type of thing. But that is this business.

So, do you think Rios can survive or will "Pacman" get his first K.O. in four years?

Maybe Alvarado would have a fighters chance, not the waltzing Rios. Never. He'll plod to his own doom.

PS: I also believe Pacquiao isn't "shot". He was always below Mayweather and tailor made for Marquez. Can't see another man beating him from 140-154 besides those three (Besides perhaps Matthysse or Canelo, fights that won't happen anyways). Not the Pac from 2008-2009 either. And not the best of his generation either. But a very good world class fighter and champion.

    So, official pick?:bbb

Would've preferred Alvarado, if he boxed he coulda gave Pac a few problems because he's got decent power aswell

Rios is gonna take a beating then star taunting then take more of a beating and eventually get stopped about round 7

I don't see Pacquiao stopping rios unless its from a cut. But I do see Pacquiao putting a beating on rios for 12rds. Rios has a punches chance, the guy has no quit in him. He's coming to fight, it's a safe test to see what Pacquiao still has. If his chin has cracked rios is the guy to test it on.

alvarado deserves the fight/money more than rios but is there's no residual effect from the ko, this past prime pac should still handle both with ease.

Even if Rios gets sliced up and stopped it really doesn't affect him that bad. It's not like anyone tagged this guy as a future pound for pound atg. That's not the point with this kid.

No matter what happens he has the third Alvarado fight on tap. His public profile is growing and it'll continue to grow due to his crass humor and his fighting style. Pretty soon he'll be one of those guys who can make big money fighting tuneups, the way Gatti did against Reyes Munoz and Joey Gamache.

Bobs been pushing and setting him up for a Pacquiao fight for a long time. Rios is a much bigger name then Alvarado and bobs been taking care of him. I believed bob wanted this fight but everything got fup so he's salvaging what he can between the two.

Yeah I remember Uncle Bob talking about Pac-Rios all the way back after Rios-Antillion. He was selling that fight so hard

I never thought about what round Manny might stop Brandon in. It makes me sad to even think about it, the poor *******. It could easily happen in the first 4 rounds. Brandon already has trouble talking. I really wish this fight had not been made. I'd have rather seen Pac-Ortrees.

This will be a beautiful bump if PAC gets sleepy on the job again.

The styles say Pac by KO, but Pacquiao hasn't knocked anybody out since 2009. I think he's only scored 2 KD's in that time period as well.

Trust me, dude. Rios is freshly cooked up just for Pacquiao. Kinda like Marquez for Packy. Styles make fights.

PAC was going to steamroll Marquez on lll then llll instead he got outboxed then knocked the fukkk out. I'm interested to see how PAC will react to Rios upper cuts. He often eats those and his age won't allowe him to move like he use to, this won't be the hoppidyhop PAC we all miss, this is the one who hopped into an overhand from hell.
