    On September 11th long time tri-sport juggler Kharitonov will make his long awaited pro boxing debut against the once formidable Danny Williams. It'll be interesting to see Sergei finally in a pro ring even if it's a bit too late at 40 and unfortunately against a beyond shot to pieces Williams. Just hope tragedy doesn't occur here. Kharitonov is a mean unit and Danny obviously has long been past the point of having any business being in the ring.

    Although known for his MMA career Kharitonov was an accomplished amateur boxer with a career going all the way back to the turn of the millennium. He gave Hrgovic all he could handle in WSOB.

    lol Yes. Price has been a pro for 11 and a bit years (feels longer), Kharitonov is making his pro debut at the age 40, and Williams has been a pro 25 years :scared1

    I spoke to Danny about this yesterday and it’s definitely going ahead. Was rumours of him fighting a bloke called Djeko as well but he told me that’s not happening. He told he’ll keep me updated with how things progress.

    Absolute barn burner. Brewster had a great left hook on him and tremendous powers of recovery. That fight would’ve ended in brutal fashion.

    Powers the last thing to go. Skills may have eroded a bit but that power is still there. Would be a mistake for any young HW hopeful to underestimate The Paratrooper.

    I believe you said that you tried convincing Danny to hang the gloves up before to no avail. But what about only taking fights against as Czech, Hungarian etc Journeymen that even in his badly faded state he's capable of beating?

    Kharitonov looks like a legit Neanderthal that someone's transplanted to the modern age. Unbelievably tough guy, and amazing for him to have excelled in so many disparate fighting sports. He even brutalised Le Banner a few years back.
