Lets say he came back to Fight Cotto/Margarito If he fought and beat margarito.. people would still say cotto>Margarito if he fought and beat cotto.. people would still say margarito>cotto i feel bad for the dude... i hope many paq beat oscar in dramatic fashion and floyd can come back to fight manny

Not really. If he fought and beat Margarito I think that he would get all the respect for it. If anything people would still want to see him fight williams, but there is not much dmeand for a Cotto fight anymore.
He should fight Margarito. He clearly beat Cotto. No controvesy. The only problem is that with Margo being so much bigger than him and Floyd's hand problems then the only way Mayweather wins this fight is to fight on the backfoot and retreat all the way through the fight. If Mayweather done this then some people would realise what it is; a great victory by using amazing defensive skills. However a large number of people will see it as "Floyd only won because he ran away from Margarito the entire fight". I think Floyd should come out of retirment and fight Margo but the only way i see him winning the fight, he will not get wide spread respect for.
