I just dont like fighters that have a need to cheat to win big fights. Now I question the wins over Cotto and Cintron. Once a cheat always a cheat.

I don't hate any of these welterweights. Mosly put on one hell of a performance. Margo would have lost anyway, he executed the perfect game plan.

The way he lost is going to be tough to come back from I dont think he will be the same, Questions are here about Tony, did his recent wars take it out of him? fighting the top welters back to back over the last two years couldnt have helped especially with his defense.

about the hand wrap thing, its a turn off of course, it pissed me off hearing that at the top of the broadcast, though i want my guy to win I want it fair and square so there is no doubt.

had he won the fight, his hands somehow would have still been illegally wrapped even though the commissions took that from them, the fans would have said something was up either way, so the out come of the fight as it is in reality is better for the sake of the sport.

I now know what 100% cotto fans felt like last year, im a cotto and marg fan and didnt want to see them fight until either had taken gayweather out of the welter division, i always thot marg would win but was hard to watch cotto loose that way, as for marg cheating i was disapointed, so im now a bigger cotto fan than marg only because of the wrap situation and not 4 his loss.

I dont hate the guy. He still made the fight fun to watch by just keep coming forward. I still give him props for fighting the best of the best at 147 lbs.

As a huge Margarito fan from years back, I was so happy to see him finally break through in the sport. He hasn't been Kd in like 10 years, I knew that he wasn't invincible, because any fighter can get KOed, but he seemed indestructible, so it was a big deal to a lot of people to see that he is not. He won't be looked as the most feared fighter anymore. It hurt me a lot to see him go down the way he did, I don't think I want to see that fight again for a long time. As far as the glove controversy, that's crazy and I hope that everything will be worked out, if he did cheat, that's like another knock out loss to me. Right now, I'm just focusing on my other favorite fighters like Joshua Clottey, Paul Williams, Manny Pacquaio and I hope they don't go out like Margarito.

Should Cotto and Cintron be considered undefeated? Jeez, if he used loaded gloves for those two fighters, it would be a damn shame. Especially for Cintron. Not once, but twice. We will never know.

Because for the longest all I've heard was ppl try to praise this guy like he was something special. He was never special, all he wanted to do was fight smaller guys.

How could you hate Margarito (at least pre-Plastergate)? The guy never talked s*&t about other fighters and always gave credit where credit was due. I really hope this turns out to be a misunderstanding of some sort. I was rooting for Shane, but would never wish ill upon Margarito.
