Poor Magarito... I'd Like To Ask Hardcore Marg Fans & Haters A question

Margo won me over as a fan in the past 2 years since he fought the best and made no excuses.
The cheating if its provrn definately will ruin my liking for him.

I'm not happy he lost, but I have no qualms about him losing to Shane. Shane fought a hell of a fight! As for the wraps, I'll reserve judgement till more information (not just heresay writers repeat ad nauseum) is clear.

 

Easy fans made him into some undestructable monster even though anyone who knew boxing could see he was limited and flawed as hell and he bought into it. Refused to give Williams any credit after he got worked and beat at his own game. Ducked Williams for less money only to fight a 37 year old Shane for less money only to get koed. Refused to avenge losses but quick to take rematches with people he made quit and cry in the ring. That ugly ass grin he has on his face during fights. I could go on and on.

 

No, hardly anyone made him out to be indestructible Pimp. You seem to want one or two posters be some sort of spokesmen for Margarito.

He is a classless **** talker, who after losing to PW refused to shake hands, and he tryed to make excuses against SSM, claiming the fight was stopped early, too much holding, he ould've continued etc, he is a guy who cherry picked his whole career and got lucky with Cotto.
He talked so much **** about none wanting to fight him even though he wouldn't fight SSM back in 01 when he was peak, then when Winky called him on his **** he wouldn't fight him either, finally he ducked a rematch with PW to finally fight an old worn out 37 yr old SSM, only to get caught cheating and get ass completely handed to him the same night.

Not a fan of margo but I think that even if he did cheat, cotto did'nt win because his punching power is not as great as mosley. despite weather his hands were loaded or not mosley landed as many big blows as i've seen in recent memory on a fighter. Maybe not count wise but he was putting everything into those punches and they broke the unbreakable down. So if he did cheat against cotto then he should be locked up but I don't think it would have changed the outcome other than cotto lasting but he would not have stopped him like mosley did no matter what happened.

 

I don't know about special but Margarito was a very solid fighter and I like what he brought to boxing. Determination, toughness, endurance. There's no shame in losing to a greatly skilled fighter but the only thing I don't like is Margarito cheating. We'll see what comes out of that.

 

I'm dissapointed by the whole scandal whether he was directly involved or not and wasn't too shocked he lost the way he did to a boxer like Mosley. I did pick Margarito though :yep

 

Does this apply to Mosley as well?
